In my post dated November 13, (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/portrait-bully-shenandoah-titus-esq-), I forecasted that Department of Homeland Security official, Christopher Krebs, would incur reprisal for speaking truth to power.
It was reported in the media that on November 17, Mr. Krebs was fired by the outgoing administration. That’s what workplace bullies do. They swiftly retaliate against employees who dare honor their pledge to serve the public with integrity.
As a federal whistleblower myself, I have some experience with that. I call upon President-elect Biden to reinstate Mr. Krebs to his former position at DHS immediately following the Inauguration on January 20th.
Public servants who honor their oath to protect and serve the public should be regarded as heroes, especially in light of the timidity and cowardice shown by most employees.
I implore you, Mr. Biden, do the right thing.
